Introduction

The free sample mini issue of PSM2 magazine from September 2000. This issue is the start of a long running, PS2 specific magazine from Future Publishing. The magazine would much later transform into PSM3 magazine with the launch of the PS3. Future also held publishing rights to the official PlayStation 2 Magazine but regardless PSM2 went on to become of the UK's most popular unofficial PS2 mags. It's slightly more informal and irreverant style and it's free cover DVD's filled with news, reviews and trailers helped to establish it in a very crowded market.

This 20 page sampler issue featured some similar content to the launch issue #01 of the magazine including news segments, previews, images and more. Sometimes, layout, text or titles were changed between the sampler and the final product.
