Featured Advert - 7 Blades

Welcome to the first of a recurring blog post where I highlight a fun/interesting/strange advert from a UK games magazine. Today I am starting with a fairly tame one from 2001. This ad is for the PS2 exclusive game 7 Blades. I like the simple design and colour scheme of this advert as well as the general lack of text/logos. It's surprisingly minimal for the time and follows Konami's 'great wave' theming that a lot of their adverts shared at the time of the PlayStation 2's launch. Games like Shadow of Memories, Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid 2 also ended up using variations on this advert theming.
