The third issue of Sega Saturn Magazine from January 1996. This issue was the first of the magazines run to include a playable demo CD, however a cheaper non-CD version was also available. The price for the CD version of the magazine was £5.99. This was also the first issue that didn't feature any news, previews or reviews of Mega Drive, Mega CD or 32X games.

Showcase: Have a go Heroes! - A six page look at Guardian Heroes, focusing mostly on the heroes themselves and a lot of screenshots.


Showcase: You want some?! - A six page feature about the incoming Toshinden (repeatedly referred to by it's Japanese, anglicised title Toh Shin Den. The same as the cover). This feature looks at the state of PlayStation to Saturn conversions and whether this game can match the new heights of the fighting game genre as found in Virtua Fighter and Tekken games.
